How Do I Enroll for Humana EFTs?

Humana handles electronic payment enrollment through the ERA/EFT Enrollment app on Availity Essentials. You can enroll by NPI or by Tax ID, which lets you route payments to different bank accounts if you need to.

   Sign in to Availity Essentials

   Go to availity.com and sign in. If you do not have a user ID, ask your organization's Availity administrator for one or register on Availity Essentials.

   Select Humana from Payer Spaces

   Open the Payer Spaces menu and select Humana.

   Open the ERA/EFT Enrollment app

   From the Applications tab, select the ERA/EFT Enrollment app. If you do not see the app, contact your Availity administrator to request access to it.

   Enroll by NPI or Tax ID

   Choose whether to enroll by National Provider Identifier or by Tax ID. Enrolling by NPI lets you deposit claim payments into different bank accounts per NPI; enrolling by TIN deposits all payments for that Tax ID into a single account. You can also use the app later to submit changes and check the status of previous requests.
